5-Frame Italian Honey Bee Nuc with Mated Queen

Start your beekeeping season with a strong, healthy 5-Frame Italian Honey Bee Nucleus Colony (Nuc) from Bee Centric Apiary. Our nucs are locally raised in North Carolina and include a young, naturally mated Italian queen selected for productivity, gentle temperament, and excellent brood production.

Each nuc contains five deep frames with a thriving colony of worker bees, brood in all stages, food stores, and an actively laying queen. These established colonies are designed to give new and experienced beekeepers a head start by providing a growing hive that can rapidly expand into full production.

Our bees are developed from quality stock with an emphasis on strong honey production, good overwintering performance, and hygienic traits. Colonies are carefully inspected prior to pickup to ensure they are healthy, queen-right, and ready for transfer into your equipment.
